This lakefront rustic chalet with direct access to Messalonskee Lake, features Knotty Pine, gas fireplace, room enough for 4 adults and high beamed ceilings. Outside, the views of Belgrade Stream are spectacular from your private deck. A gas grill and cozy seating are also provided. Shared Access to kayaks, paddle boats, swimming, rope swings and fishing are just steps from your door. Shared outdoor fire pit is also available for all your s’mores needs. Come enjoy some peace and tranquility.

The space
Our lakefront, rustic Sunset chalet is a studio like space with one big open room and a private bathroom. It features an open concept living space with a king sized and queen sized bed. All extra linens are included. The bathroom has a vanity, toilet, tiled stand up shower and small closet. All towels, hand towels and washcloths are provided during your stay. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash as well as a hair dryer are also included. The studio comes equipped with gas stove top, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, dinette table with 4 chairs, fireplace and AC unit. Dishes, coffee mugs, silverware and glassware are also provided. Step outside on your own personal deck to enjoy the lake views, cook on the grill or enjoy a book on provided deck chairs. Amenities include use of your own outdoor jacuzzi hot tub on a private deck overlooking the Belgrade Stream, television, Alexa (She can play audio, control your smart home, answer questions and engage your favorite services to keep you organized, informed, safe, connected and entertained. As a product of Amazon, she's also your personal shopper ) free WiFi and Netflix access to enjoy.

Guests have shared access to the Belgrade stream and Messalonskee Lake and other amenities. Including kayaks and paddle boats, life jackets of various sizes available, also a shared large fire pit available to roast marshmallows or make s’mores. Just a short stroll and you'll find yourself at the shared dock, steps away from the rope swing and some of the most beautiful views Maine has to offer. The property is truly a breathtaking site in all four seasons. The fun of the summer attracts many but if you’re one that likes ice fishing and snow, this property is also for you! The stream doesn’t ice up completely but the lake does and makes for a wonderful day trip just a jump, hop, and skip away! Come inside and sit by the fireplace after a chilly day on the lake and make the best memories no matter what the season is!

Other things to note
There is a pontoon boat available for rent on site. It is on a first come first serve basis. You can message us at any time for availability or reservations.

It’s available in a half day intervals at $399 per half day plus gasoline (8-12/ 2-6).

The Pontoon Boat is 22 feet in length with passenger capacity up to 10 persons. It is fully equipped with safety gear including Life jackets, Throw device, Boarding ladder, First Aid kit and Fire Extinguisher.

We will gives you a complete rundown on operation of the boat before you leave including safety features, places to see and places to go and not to go on the Lake.

There is a $195 pet fee. Please be kind and let us know beforehand if you plan to bring your pet. Pets are always welcome as we know first hand that they are a part of a family unit!

While visiting, we do ask that pets refrain from using the bathroom on the back yard. This is a place that all guests have access to and we want to make sure that the landscape stays the best that it can be!

We also ask that our guests always pick up after their pets both indoors and outdoors. This includes keeping pets off the furniture as well.

Our Main house on the property has a ring doorbell that does face the driveway. Although this does not interfere with your space directly, we just wanted to let you know that it does face the driveway and you could be seen at some point during your stay on the ring doorbell just as our mail and UPS man can be seen as well! Thanks for your understanding.
